Punjab inaugurates Special Games 2025 at Lahore Stadium with 500 special athletes competing in nine games, emphasizing talent, inclusion, and encouragement.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – For the first time in the province’s history, the Chief Minister Punjab inaugurated Special Games 2025 with a grand ceremony at Punjab Stadium, Lahore.
The colourful event was officially opened by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare, Suhail Shaukat Butt, featuring a spectacular march past by special athletes and a dazzling fireworks display.
Around 500 special athletes from government and private institutions are participating in nine different games at the event.
Provincial Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar, speaking at the ceremony, praised the talent of special athletes and assured that the Sports Department will support and encourage them at every level.
