Sindh govt grants Rs100 million to PHF

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Pakistan people party (PPP) led Sindh government has approved a gargantuan grant of RS100 million for Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) today (Thursday) over the special recommendation of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Talking about this tremendous step, Sindh CM s Spokesperson said that RS100 million will be released in next two or three days after the completion of legal requirements.

Mega event is to be held in Bhubaneswar, India, on November28, however, due to financial privation, Pakistan Hockey team has to put departure at the end.

On the other hand, Pakistan hockey team management thanked Sindh Chief Minister for RS100 million for the Pakistan s national game.

Hockey World Cup 2018 will feature hosts India, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain, New Zealand and Pakistan, and will be held in Bhubaneswar from November 28 to December 16.
