(Dunya News) Though Football World Cup, happening in Russia is all set to thrill the exhilarating football fans all over the world from this June 14 but Karachi’s Mini Brazil, Lyari has already been painted with the insignia of this international most anticipating sports event.
Lyari resident’s houses, streets and pavements give a picture of support for their favorite teams and players.
The football buffs of Lyari in their small dwelling vennel, and slums, with their aggrandized hearts, have already kicked off the preparations for Football World Cup.
Unfurl flags and the walls painted with the names and emblems of 32 football teams can exclusively be observed all over the Lyari.

Lyariites even has set up a unique and a grand wall displaying the past winning teams’ names, the year and the emblem. The place for the team to bag this year’s Football Trophy, remains vacant.
