British boxer Amir Khan to attend closing ceremony of Punjab Championship
Amir Khan along with his wife will be chief guests at prize distribution ceremony of Championship.
LAHORE (APP) - Sports Board Punjab, under the direction of Secretary Sports Punjab , Muhammad Aamir Jan, has completed all the arrangements for holding the closing ceremony of Inter-Division Punjab Open Boxing Championship here tomorrow, Tuesday at Al-Hamra Cultural Complex at 4.00pm.
Olympic medallist British boxing star Amir Khan along with his wife will be chief guests at the prize distribution ceremony. Young boys and girls will feature in the final bouts of their respective weight categories in the presence of Amir Khan.
Director Admin Javed Chohan in a statement on Monday said that best possible arrangements have been made to make the closing ceremony a memorable event.
A colourful cultural show and grand fire work show will also be held at the closing ceremony. Famous singer Arif Lohar, Ainee, Malku, Sarmad Qadir will perform on this occasion.
