Pakistan draw against Chinese Taipei 3-3 in Youth Olympics Qualifiers
It was the opening match of the men in green in Bangkok
LAHORE (APP) – Pakistan were held to a 3-3 draw by Chinese Taipei in their opening match of the 5-a side Asian hockey qualifiers for the Youth Olympics in Bangkok, Thailand on Wednesday.
The 5-a-side tournament is played on a smaller field and the 30 minute matches are played over three periods of 10 minutes each.
Earlier in the month, Pakistan secured the seventh place at the men’s hockey event in the Commonwealth Games 2018 after beating Canada. The men in green, in their pool matches, drew four straight matches.
