KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan boxer Muhammad Waseem, the unbeaten World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Flyweight Champion, has dropped a hint to stop representing Pakistan in boxing due to lack of sponsorship.
Waseem, who is going fight a Colombian boxer in Las Vegas to maintain his number one ranking, has said in a message that Pakistan is his first preference but the upcoming bout might be his last for the country.
Disheartened by lack of funds and support, Muhammad Waseem said he will consider to take the nationality of either South Korea or the United States.
