Boxer Amir Khan's mobile phone hacked
"My husbands phone has gotten hacked," said Makhdoom
(Web Desk) – Amir Khan, former unified world boxing champion asserted on Tuesday that his mobile phone had been targeted by hackers and warned his contacts against responding to any messages from ‘him’.
Khan wrote on Twitter:
To those who have my mobile number. Since 2pm UK time my sim ending with 000 number has been hacked. Please do not respond to messages

On the other hand, his wife Faryal Makhdoom stated on Snapchat: “My husbands phone has gotten hacked and there a lot of personal information on the phone.”
She further said that this “sick person” had been sending text messages to her while her husband was in meetings and she thought the hacker to be Khan.
She posted of the incident whilst the couple was in a police station in Dubai to lodge a case against the unidentified hacker.
Faryal reports the incident in Dubai police station:
Separately, on boxing front, the 30-year-old boxer hinted on May 7 at fighting Manny Pacquiao in United Arab Emirates (UAE). “I am ready to fight Pacquiao anytime. He is a great champion and I want to fight him. I can fight him in Dubai, Abu Dhabi anywhere he wants,” Khan had said.
Daughters of former president Asif Ali Zardari also shared on social media last week their training with the light-welterweight world champion in Dubai.
It should be mentioned here that hundreds of thousands of computers in China were reported attacked by a ransomware earlier this week. Ransomware is a software developed by hackers to limit access of users to their computers unless they pay money thus the term, ransom-ware.
