PACHUCA: (AFP) - A 55-year-old referee died after an angry player headbutted him for calling a foul during an amateur football game in central Mexico, authorities said Tuesday.
The prosecutor s office in the state of Hidalgo was still searching for the player, two days after Sunday s incident in the village of Santiago Tulantepec.
The player headbutted the referee after he was called for a foul. The assailant fled when a brawl erupted between the two teams.
