On the third day of Abu Dhabi test between Pakistan and South Africa, Pakistan was 317 for the loss of 6 wickets at stumps. Irresponsible batting has augmented the chances of follow-on. Third day's play was also stopped early due to bad light. At stumps on third day of the second test, Pakistan was still trailing behind South Africa by 267 runs. Earlier young batsman of Pakistan Azhar Ali got out on 90 and could not complete his first test century. Taufiq Umer scored 43 while Asad Shafiq made 61 runs. Experienced campaigner Younas Khan returned to the pavilion after scoring just 14. The skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is not out on 77 while he is accompanied by Abdul Rehman who is not out on 0. Pakistan will have to make 68 more runs to avoid follow-on. Dale Steyn took 3 wickets for his side while Harris took 2. Jacques Kallis also grabbed a wicket.
