PARIS (AFP) - Former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has moved past Simona Halep into sixth place in the latest WTA world rankings.

Halep of Romania crashed out early in a second round upset to Germany s Laura Siegemund in Stuttgart last week, while Czech player Kvitova made it to the semi-finals where she lost to eventual winner Angelique Kerber.
