Singapore boys hockey team put up a good showing against Asian powerhouse Pakistan but eventually had to concede to their third successive loss in as many games, losing 1-4. Singapore managed to take a 1-0 lead after Mohammad Haseef converted a penalty corner. The hosts enjoyed the advantage for the majority of the first half before Pakistans Ahmed Zubair leveled the score within the final minutes of the half. Three second half goals from Pakistans Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Arslan Qadir and Muhammad Suleman denied Singapore a chance to spark a revival towards the end of the game.
