Pakistans top rated cueist Muhammad Sajjad went down fighting 4-5 against world number 20 Ricky Walden of England in Sangsom 6-Red World Snooker Championship at Bangkok (Thailand) on Tuesday. Ranked number two in Asia, Sajjad fought tooth and nail before going down fighting 1-38, 37-12, 12-41, 35-25, 69-0, 36-21, 4-51, 17-37, 35-15. Walden made a solid start by forging 4-1 ahead with a neatly compiled break of 69 in the fifth frame. However 26-year-old Sajjad, staged a remarkable comeback by taking the next three frames in a row to level the terms 4-frame all. However, experienced professional Walden pulled the decider to emerge winner.Sajjad, who defeated former Asian Champion Supoj Saenla of Thailand 5-3 in his opening match, will take on another Englishman Barry Hawkins in his third match on Wednesday.
