Summary Pakistan defeated hosts U.S. in basketball at pool stage
(Web Desk) – Pakistani delegation to Special Olympic World Games 2015 held in Los Angeles made the nation proud as it won its sixth medal of the tournament on Thursday.
The latest medal came when athelete Marvi Azhar took to the filed and won bronze medal in 400 metres race in what appeared to be a hard won competition.
The victory meant that Pakistan will add a 6th medal to its tally. Earlier, Pakistan defeated hosts U.S. in basketball after losing to Israel in pool matches.
Special Olympics Pakistan athletes will compete in the following sports: Aquatics, Athletics , Badminton, Basketball, Cycling, Football, Powerlifting, Table Tennis and Tennis
