The luxury souvenirs cost tennis-goers �29 ($45, 41 euros) a piece in the club shop.

 

Serena into Singapore finale

- Serena Williams has become the first woman to qualify for the eight-player, end-of-season WTA Championships from October 25-November 1 in Singapore. World number one Williams has won the last three editions.

 

Quiet, please

- Wimbledon will be observing the minute s silence on Tuesday at 11:30am (1030 GMT) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the London bombings which killed 52 innocent people. Play on all courts, except Centre Court and Court One which begin in the afternoon, will start at 11:45am (1045 GMT) instead of 11:00am.

 

Royal Box watch

- The best seats on Centre Court had a Ryder Cup feel on Monday with Jamie Donaldson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Paul McGinley, Ian Poulter, Sam Torrance and Lee Westwood in attendance. They were side by side with actresses Jenifer Hewitt and Emily Mortimer.
