ANTWERP: (Dunya News) – Adding insult to the injury, France has on Sunday defeated Pakistan in World Hockey League by 2 goals to 1 in a match for 7th position in the tournament.
National team seemed completely out of sorts throughout the four quarters of the game. Martin scored the first goal for France in the 13th minute while the second one was scored in the 30th minute by Hugo to ensure France’s victory.
Tauseeq Ahmad scored the only goal for Pakistan but it certainly wasn’t enough. After this defeat, national team remained at 8th position in the tournament.
