ANTWERP (Dunya News) – India and Australia won their respective Quarter-final fixtures and reached Semi-finals in World Hockey League on Wednesday. Pakistan chances of qualifying have increased by India’s victory, reported Dunya News.
Australia defeated Ireland resoundingly in a one sided affair by 4-1 in the Quarfter finals.
On the other hand, Asian champion India defeated Malaysia by 2-1 in a tightly contested match.
Pakistan’s chances of qualifying for 2016 Rio Olympics have increased as India progressed to Semi finals. Pakistan can still manage to progress to 2016 Olympics if it secures 5th position in the league.
