Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick posted easy quarterfinal victories Wednesday that set up a semifinal meeting at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. Nadal, the No. 4 seed in this ATP World Tour Masters event, dispatched Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3, 6-2 in 90 minutes. Nadal has defeated Tsonga in five of their six career meetings. Roddick, seeded sixth, defeated Nicolas Almagro 6-3, 6-3 in a bid for his second consecutive final appearance. He reached the title match at Indian Wells two weeks ago. The other quarterfinals will be held today. Robin Soderling will take on Mikhail Youzhny and Fernando Verdasco will meet Tomas Berdych, who eliminated top-ranked Roger Federer on Tuesday.
