LIVERPOOL (AP) - Liverpool striker Luis Suarez won t travel to Norway with his teammates for a pre-season match because of a foot injury.
The club said Tuesday that the Uruguay international will undergo a scan and remain on Merseyside alongside Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson, who will stay at home "as a precaution after picking up knocks."
Suarez, who scored 30 goals for the Reds in all competitions last season, has made clear he wants to leave Liverpool but his club recently rejected an Arsenal bid.
Liverpool plays Valerenga on Wednesday.
