LONDON (AP) - Top-seeded Andy Murray beat Frenchman Nicolas Mahut 6-3, 7-6 (4) on Thursday to advance to the third round of the Queen s Club grass-court tournament. The match had been suspended by rain at 2-2 in the first set on Wednesday.

In a matchup between two former Queen s champions, Australia s Lleyton Hewitt upset sixth-seeded American Sam Querrey 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.

Querrey saved five break points in the first set but failed to convert five in the second. Hewitt won the only break point of the final set to advance to the quarterfinals.
