JOHANNESBURG (AFP) - Mbabane Swallows completed a Swaziland football treble at the weekend when they defeated mid-table Royal Leopard 3-1 to wrap up the league title.

The victory at the national stadium outside capital city Mbabane gave Swallows an unassailable 14-point lead over Malanti Chiefs with four rounds remaining in the 12-club national championship.

Sabelo Ndzinisa gave Mbabane an early lead and Zweli Nxumalo levelled after half-time before goals from Mfanafuthi Bhembe and goalkeeper Ephraim Mazarura, from a penalty kick, ensured Swallows retained the title.

The  Birds  defeated Malanti 5-3 last weekend in the Swaziland FA Cup final and also won the domestic League Cup competition to complete the first treble in the 65 years of the club.
