Summary Four-day Swat Snow Festival 2013 will be held from March 14 to 17.
RAWALPINDI (Online) - A four day Swat Snow Festival 2013 will be held from March 14 to 17 in the well-known Skiing Resort, namely Malam Jabba.
According to ISPR, after operation in Swat, the Skiing resort has been rebuilt while the hotel adjacent to it will also be made functional in the next few months.
The event includes skiing, gliding, snow trekking and Tobogganing. A large number of people from all walks of life from all over the country are expected to attend this festival.
On the occasion, special Skiing and Gliding Coaching-classes will be arranged for school and university students.
Located nearly 40 Kilometres away from Saidu Sharif, Malam Jabba is an ideal spot for a family picnic during the summer season due to its lush green pastures and thick pine forests.
It merits mentioning here that the Malam Jabba Ski Resort is owned by the Pakistani Tourism Development Corporation and has a ski slope of about 800 m with the highest point of the slope 2804m (9200 ft) above sea level.
