FAISALABAD: Tent Pegging and Handball teams from Indian Punjab will visit University of Agriculture Faisalabad to participate in the Spring Festival in February this year.
This was revealed by UAF VC Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan at a function at Staff Club of the University held in the honor of the visiting Indian Kabbadi team participating in the second Commissioner Faisalabad Division International Gold Cup Kabbadi Tournament.
Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan said such kind of visits and sports activities provide opportunity to revive rich culture of the region adding that during the last few months Kabbadi matches between Indian and Pakistani Punjab and their media coverage grabbed an exclusive and overwhelming attention of the people that would bring them more closer to each other.
