Summary Everton cruised to a comfortable 5-1 victory over fourth-tier Cheltenham in the FA Cup third round.
The Premier League club opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a close-range strike from Nikica Jelavic. Leighton Baines then converted a 21st minute penalty and Leon Osman slotted home four minutes after the re-start.
Russell Penn pulled a goal back for the hosts but Seamus Coleman lobbed Everton s fourth and Marouane Fellaini, who was involved in both Everton s early goals, turned victory into a rout in the 89th minute. Jelavic had reacted first after Fellaini s angled shot hit the far post and the Belgium international also won the penalty tucked home by Baines.
Everton will face the winners of a replay between Sunderland and Bolton Wanderers in the fourth round.
