Chelsea trained at their Cobham ground south west of London in preparation for their Champions League match against Atletico Madrid. Chelsea players were sharply critical of each other after their 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa and have been practising defending set pieces before Wednesday's game. The London side slipped from the top of the Premier League after conceding two soft goals from corners against Villa and coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Tuesday the players had been working on the problem. Chelsea top Champions League Group D after two victories, while Atletico are bottom with just one point. On Wednesday Chelsea will be without right back Jose Bosingwa, who picked up a knee injury on Saturday. The Blues have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in five of the past six years, losing the final in 2008.
