Summary

After 15 days of exciting cricket its left to defending champions Australia and their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand to battle it out in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy at Centurion Park today. Both teams have won this tournament once before as New Zealand did it in 2000 while Aussies did it last time round in 2006. Australians have been unbeaten in this years tournament and are the team to beat. They had a close win against Pakistan but that was the nearest they came to a defeat in the tournament. Kiwis applied themselves well at Wanderers and it is something they will like to repeat at Centurion again. Grant Elliot is doing wonderfully well as an all rounder while the others will also have to chip in with the bat against a quality bowling unit like Australia. Ross Taylor is still their main man and will have to deliver today as he hasnt been able to play an innings according to his potential thus far in the tournament. The match will start at 6:30 pm according to Pakistani time.
