In another sorry incident of Vani, a 12-year-old girl has been forced into marriage with an elderly man (40) in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Dunya News reported on Wednesday. Reportedly, some armed influential of Nagdar village barged into the house of Ghulam Jilani and after inflicting sever torture on the house mates, solemnized nikkah of their 12-year-old daughter Tahira with a 40-year-old man. The girls father said that the influential alleged his son of illicit terms which was not true and the incident was triggered due to some old rivalry. Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed took notice of the issue after the said news was aired on Dunya TV.
