Two people were shot dead in two different target-killing incidents in Soldier bazaar area and Ayesha manzil. On the other hand, a police mobile ran over an eight-year-old boy, killing him on the spot. Fresh incidents in the cosmopolitan have claimed at least eight lives, Dunya news reported on Friday.According to Joharabad Police sources, 39-year-old Ehsan was sitting in a hotel with his friend when some unidentified motorcyclists shot him dead on the spot. Police sources told the media that Ehsan was a resident of Federal. b area and used to install audio tapes in cars. In another firing incident in Soldier bazaar area, Asghar Shafi was murdered. Asghars family members said that he was going back to his place when near Iqbal Market some unknown people tried to snatch his valuables and upon resistance they opened fire on him. Asghar was immediately moved to Jinnah Hospital where he could not succumb to his injuries.An over-speeded Kala Kot police station van ran over an eight-year-old boy in Norrani Bastee in Lyari. The boy was shifted to the Civil Hospital where he died of the severe wounds caused by the accident. Police have arrested Muhammad Rafiq, the driver of the police van.
