The students of nursing school in Layyah staged a sit-in protest against the administration of health department for 17 hours; where as many of the students even lost their emotions due to intense protest.The protest of nursing students is being continued since yesterday morning in District Headquarter Hospital. During the last week of August, these students of nursing dispatched an application to Secretary Health Punjab against the principal and DO Health in which they stated that principal and DO Health are forcing them for corruption and also harassing them. The students also stated and confirmed about the monetary corruption in that application. Students also confirmed that the administration not only sent police to the hospital and harassed them, rather also sent police to their houses in the whole district. The sit-in of these students against the administration is continued since yesterday morning. The main demand of these students is that principal of nursing school and DO Health must be removed from their designations.
