Vehari: Three of a family electrocuted to death

Three people including a woman and her two children electrocuted to death when a live wire fell on their hut in Vehari. As per reports, dozens of squatters have moved to a village EB-224 of Vehari from Bahwalnagar due to shortage of water where live wires of 11,000 KV fell upon a hut. Resultantly, Nazeeran Bibi (35) died on the spot along with her two children Mazhar (10) and Sufai (8). Ten cows also died of electric wires. The villagers said the incident occurred due to Wapdas negligence.
