Journalist torture case: Case registered against PML-N MPA

Batala Colony Police has registered a case against three persons including PML-N MPA Dr. Khalid Imtiaz Baloch in charges of violence against a journalist in Faisalabad. Local journalist Muhammad Ibrahim went for coverage of an incident in which a 10-year-old Yasir was drown in a pool in Peoples Colony 2 few days ago. MPA Dr. Imtiaz Khalid and his armed men stopped Ibrahim from the coverage and resorted to violence and confiscated mobile phone and camera. When contacted, Dr. Imtiaz said that he respects journalists community and facts will come to surface during the investigations of the case.
