The inhabitants of Kot Abdul Malik Town, Lahore took to streets and held a demonstration against polices inaction in view of the rising incidents of robberies and on Sunday. The protesters blocked traffic at Sheikhupura-Lahore Road by burning tyres and chanted slogans against the government. They said they have repeatedly informed the police about the rising incidents of robberies, but of no avail. Meanwhile, the police restored to baton-charge to disperse the angry mob and injured many of the protesters.
