Summary
Erosion of Sindh River is continued in Tehsil Jatoi of District Muzaffargarh due to which thousands of acres land has been inundated. Thousands of people have been shifted to safe places. Twenty villages near Sariya are under threat due to erosion of Sindh River. Villagers said that almost 50 feet land inundates daily and in a week, these villages may also be inundated. They are of the view that the government didnt come for their rescue. A report was prepared in 2009 to avoid this erosion but nothing has been done in this regard.
