Summary

The Sindh High Court took notice of jirga which decided that police will pay claim to the relatives of proclaimed outlaw Darvesh Jahkrani. Sindh High Court has instructed the police to arrest the participants of the Jirga.Police team lead by SPO Jacobabad Abdul Khalik have conducted raids for arresting the participants of the jirga including Sardar Muhammad Muquim Khan Khosa and Sardar Mumtaz Hussain Jhakrani, however no arrests have been made so far. SPO speaking to Dunya News said that he has been instructed to arrest the members of the jirga and initiate inquiry against them.Punjab government has appointed DSP Anwar Goptang as inquiry officer to look into the matter. A jirga held couple of days ago gave announced verdict that Jacobabad police will payout a claim of Rs 1.9 million for the death of proclaimed outlaw. It is worth mentioning that the outlaws have also killed Head Constable Kora Khan in front of Police Head Quarter.
