Police thrash protesting teachers in Karachi

Primary Teachers School Association took out a rally to press their demands in on Thursday Karachi. The rally was supposed to climax at the Governor House, however police intercepted the protesters at Fawara Chowk and resorted to baton charge and teargas shelling to stop their movement. Many teachers got seriously injured during the baton charge. TPO President said that police arrested around 26 teachers.
