Seven members of a family were killed in Jam Pur area. The relatives of the victims kept the body on the Indus Highway and blocked the road.After the post mortem was completed the relatives of the victim took the dead bodies on the Indus Highway. The angry protesters demanded for the apprehension of the culprits. The relatives of the victims blocked the highway for two hours.The DPO Rajan Pur Sohail Zafar arrived on the scene and intervened into the case. The DPO assured the relatives of the victims that the culprits would soon be brought to justice.Earlier during the day 10 armed men entered into the house of Atta Muhammad and attacked the residents. The culprits killed Atta Muhammad, his wife, daughter-in-law, two sons and two grandchildren. The area was gripped by fear and panic. Police said that the killings could be the result of family enmity.
