Karachi: 2 killed in exchange of fire between police and gang

One policeman and a passerby were killed in exchange of firing between police and criminals while 8 others were injured on Thursday. According to police, criminals opened fire when police raided on them after a tip-off in Lyari area of Karachi on Thursday morning. The gang also fired two rockets on police. Exchange of fire between drug dealers and police continued throughout the day, in which a passerby and a driver Muhammad Yasin were killed. Dead bodies and the injured were shifted to hospital. Panic and fear prevailed in the area after the incident.
