Another Hajj scandal has been exposed in the country as a travel agent ran away after receiving money, passports and other documents of 150 persons in Gujranwala. The affectees protested against the travel agent, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.Around 150 residents of Gujranwala and its neighboring areas submitted their passports and relevant documents along with money for Hajj pilgrimage to Ishtiaq Ahmad, owner of Al-Qadsia International Travel Agency located in Trust Plaza Gujranwala. Ishtiaq had even issued a formal letter to the applicants but ran away after locking his office. The affectees protested against the fraud and said that the travel agent not only deprived them of their money but of the pilgrimage. They demanded the authorities to take stern action against the accused.
