LAHORE: The inauguration of the event would be made with the traditional chaddar-laying ceremony and milkmen equipped with religious and humanitarian emotions would distribute hundreds of tons mike free of cost for the poor and the needy.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, provincial minister for Auqaf Haji Ihsan ud Din Qureshi said that preparations for the 964th Urs are in full swing while security has been beefed up in the city.
He said that all arrangements including medical, residential and food facilities have been finalised for the pilgrims.
The Director General Religious Affairs, Secretary Auqaf Tariq Pasha and other authorities were also present on the occasion.
