The crackdown and snap checking against illegal emigrants to avoid terrorist acts continue in Karachi. According to police sources, more than 200 foreigners have been so far arrested from the city in this ongoing crackdown since Thursday. Most of the arrests were made in the areas of Sohrab Goth, Quaidabad and Sirjani Town and they include Uzbek, Tajik and Afghani people. All the entrance and exit points of the city have been closed down due to the crackdown. All important buildings including railway station and embassies have been put on high alert; where as car search is also taking place on main boulevards of the city. Special security arrangements regarding Jumma prayers have also been made in all religious centers and mosques.
