Summary Rawalpindi Arts Council organized tableau and national songs competition here on Tuesday.
ISLAMABAD: The function was organized in connection with the Birth Day Celebrations of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Tahira Aurangzeb, member National Assembly was the guest of honor while Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director Waqar Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
More than 15 schools from Rawalpindi/Islamabad participated while Iqbal Tabasum, Rahat Ali and Sajjad Hussain were the judges for the competition.
In tableau competition Bright Land School secured first prize , the Excel School got second, Noor Academy got third while CRM School remained fourth in the race of winners.
Similarly, in national sings Competition, Aims Academy stood first, Morning Star got second, Wish School secured third while Dar-ul-Islam achieved fourth consolation prize.
Addressing on the occasion, Tahira Aurangzeb, member National Assembly said that the day reminds us to pledge for the development of the country.
Naheed Manzoor and Waqar Ahmed, Resident Director also spoke on the occasion. Tahira Aurangzeb, member National Assembly distributed shields among the winners.
