KP govt fighting terrorism for last five years: Hoti

Summary KP CM says the entire region needs to made collective efforts to curb the menace of terrorism.

 

PESHAWAR: The Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Hoti has said the provincial government has been battling against terrorism for the last five years due to which they failed in their evil designs.

 

He expressed these views while talking to the High Commissioner of Brunai Dar-us-Salam, who called on him here on Tuesday, he said that the Bacha Khan International Airport was attacked by the terrorists, with the same planning which was carried out to attack the Mehran and Kamra Air bases, to bring extensive loss to the airport and other public assets, he added.

 

The chief minister said that the entire region needs to made collective efforts to curb the menace of terrorism from the region and to establish peace and stability in the region.

 

Hoti informed the High Commissioner, Brunai Dar-us-Salam, about the investment opportunities in various sectors in the province.

 

The High Commissioner Brunai Dar-us-Salam paid tribute to the security forces and the people of the province for their efforts for battling the menace of terrorism.
