Summary A PIA, with Governor GB on board, met an accident at Islamabad airport on Friday morning.
According to details‚ one of the tyres of the PIA flight PK-605 destined to Gilgit caught fire and the plane skidded off the runway. However‚ all the passengers and crew remained safe.
The passengers also included Governor Gilgit-Baltistan and Home Secretary. The passengers were later sent to Gilgit through another flight.
