Summary Some unknown armed persons looted Rs 3.6 million from a bank in Gulistan-e-Johar on Wednesday.
According to SIU SSP Faruque Awan, five gangsters armed with TT pistols barged into a bank this morning, hammered the bank guards to overpower them, took hostage of the bank staff and looted about Rs3.6 million.
Awan said that the identification of the culprits would be difficult, as there has been no tradition in National Bank branches to install CCTV cameras.
