Summary PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will visit Dir Thursday to inaugurate second phase of Lowari tunnel project.
The work on the mega project had been abandoned for want of funds. The district administration, however, did not confirm the visit of the prime minister.
It has been told that the rail tunnel would be converted into a road tunnel, which was a longstanding demand of the people of Chitral.
The PM will visit Dir for one day under stringent security measures in this regard.
