Summary Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said peace in Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa, FATA and Afghanistan is interlinked.
KPK Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said that establishment of peace in FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is impossible without peace and stability in Afghanistan as normalcy in both the countries is inter-linked.He was talking to a delegation of American Consulate under Richard .E. Hogland at the CM House in Peshawar on Thursday.The CM said people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa paid a huge price in war against terrorism and were still doing so.Both sides discussed the matters pertaining to collective security situation of the region and bilateral relations. The US delegation condemned currents terrors acts and material and life loss in Peshawar.Hoti disclosed that terrorism was not confined to a particular area; rather the problem has engulfed the whole region and the people of the region were confronting some situation; same challenge. He stressed countries of the region to resolve the matter collectively and demanded for trust building between the Pakistan and Afghanistan.He reiterated that people and government of the province have a strong and unshakable commitment against terrorism and the people will triumph by the grace of God.Establishment of Diplomatic Enclave in Peshawar was also discussed in the meeting.Leader of the delegation lauded efforts of Bacha Khan, Abdul Wali Khan and their family for politics and democracy.
