Summary A love marriage couple was shot dead on order of a Jirga in Hyderabad.
Addressing a press conference, SSP Hyderabad Pir Fareed Jan Sarhindi informed that Ishtiaq and Samina Dethoo of Hosstery village near Hyderabad contracted love marriage in Karachi court few months ago after which a ‘Jirga’ decided to kill them over the pretext of karo kari.After return to their village the couple was shot dead and their bodies were hidden. Police raided the area after the incident and arrested five persons, including father of the girl. During investigation the police recovered dead bodies of the couple on information provided by accused.
