Summary Rawalpindi district administration says chemical units would be shifted from residential areas.
DCO Rawalpindi Saqib Zafar has constituted a three-member committee to prepare report to displace the chemical units out of residential areas of the city.Sources said that the committee would prepare a report for removal of 37 chemical units from the residential areas. It comprises Additional District Collector General, Saif Anwar Jappa, DO Labour, and DO (I & P).The decision has been taken on the advice of Industry department of Punjab, sources added.The committee is analysing where these chemical units will be transferred.
