Summary Criminal Record Officers will be appointed in all the police stations in Rawalpindi.
Directives to appoint Criminal Record Officers (CROs) have been issued in all the city police stations to keep and update the record of criminals.According to the sources, each CRO would provide the record of the criminals of his police station to the criminal record office established in the CIA staff centre.In addition to Rawalpindi, orders regarding appointment of CROs in other police stations have also been issued.The criminal record office has been made computerised to keep a record of the criminal elements and that of the prisoners.
