Summary The Karachi-bound Night Coach from Lahore was cancelled after 14-hour delay.
Passenger, who waited for 14 hours for the train were stunned by the decision of the Pakistan Railways. They staged a protest at the Lahore Railway Station after the announcement of cancellation of the train. The protesters also tried to damage the railway property. Railway Police reached the spot and disperse the demonstrators.The Night Couch was scheduled to leave Lahore for Karachi at 5:00pm on Saturday but it was delayed due to non-availability of railway engine. The passengers faced difficulties as the railway authorities kept them in darkness about the departure of the train and after a wait of 14 hours the train was cancelled.
