Summary At least 17 outlaws were arrested by police from different areas of Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
Rawalpindi police arrested 17 criminals and recovered 1450-gram hashish, 225-gram heroine, 36 bottles of liquor, 03 pistols, 22 round and gambling money from them.Gujar Khan Police recovered 1100-gram hashish from Abdul Rauf and 350-gram hashish from Aftab while Sadiqabad police recovered 115-gram heroine from Nauman and 110-gram heroine from Yousaf.Police Station at Racecourse recovered 06 bottles of liquor from Yaseen while Pir Wadhai police recovered 15 bottle of wine from Farhan and Civil line police recovered unauthorized pistol from Jawad.Airport police also took unauthorized gun into custody along with 3 rounds from Irfan.Meanwhile, Pir Wadhai police during a tip off arrested Rahat, Wahid, Riaz, Altaf and Rizwan red handed while playing cards and recovered Rs 2100 gamble money, six mobile phones and different equipment from them.Separate cases have been registered against the accused.
